Objective

After successfully completing the course, the student:   will have adopted the principles of safe working follows the safety at work laws as well as ergonomic instructions participates in the development of the working environment is trained to see materials, methods, and forms as an aesthetic and appropriate entirety Passing the course allows the student to work in the wood workshop independently.  

Content

Content: Safe use and maintenance of the machines and tools Knowledge of the most common domestic and imported wood species, their properties and how to use them responsibly Surface treatment methods and safe use of the surface treatment materials.  

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Assignments and active participation. Assessment   Excellent (5), good (4-3), fair (2-1); fail
