Production and technology based DesignLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

During the course, students learn         the main metal materials and manufacturing methods         to perceive the relationship between production and design         to make full use of workshops and different mock-ups and models         to understand production requirements and restrictions

Content

During the course tudents design and manufacture an assignment in cooperation with a company. Studens learn to make different mock-ups designed metal products process portfolio with presentation pictures and photos   Students also learn to reflect on and justify their design procesess and design decisions
