After completing the course, the students are able to: understand slow and clear standard and job-related speech. understand the main points of professional texts and react to and comment on them in speech and in writing. use basic structures and the technical terminology of their field more or less correctly both orally and in writing. speak relatively fluently in such a way that occasional mistakes in pronunciation or prosody do not lead to misunderstanding. write simple texts, for example, design product analyses, on job-related themes. justify the decisions they have made in design assignments using technical terminology.
