CAD/CAMLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

Students develop their skills in 3D modelling and they may use it with computer aided modelling. During the course students acquire basic knowledge of our CNC machine and 3D printer.

Content

During the course student smanufacture their own 3D model withthe  CNC machine and rapid prototyping machine. The students gain an overall picture of compurter aided design and manufacturing. 1. Advanced modelling with 3D modelling software. 2. Basics of CAM software and how to manufacture a model. 3. Basics of rapid prototyping methodology and how to use the machine.

Exam, assignments and active participation . Excellent (5), Good (4-3), Pass (2-1), Fail (0)
