Objective

Students can use the key vocabulary of the field in Swedish. Students can look for information in professional Swedish sources and apply the information in different situations related to studies and working life. Students can work in different professional situations requiring both spoken and written Swedish skills.

Content

What is the key professional vocabulary? How to look for information in professional sources and how to apply it? How to draw up texts for professional purposes? How to use Swedish in spoken communication situations? How to communicate and cooperate in Swedish during studies and in working communities?

Qualifications

Attending the course requires Swedish skills enabling academic studies

Assessment criteria, good (3)

a) Students can use the professional vocabulary of the field systematically. b) Students can look for information in the key information sources of the field. d) Students can work together with target groups and users.   The assessment of UAS Swedish studies relies on the competence levels defined in the Common European Frame of Reference for Languages.
