Objective

Students have knowledge of important functional groups of organic compounds of the professional field. Students are familiar with the most important polymers and their properties and reaction mechanisms. Students can test the physical properties of polymers, identify polymers and analyse their structures with spectrophotometric and chromatographic methods.

Content

What are the most important polymers and their physical and chemical properties? How polymers are synthetized with different reaction mechanisms? How the structure and properties of polymers can be analysed with different methods?

Qualifications

Basic Engineering Physics and Chemistry or related studies.
