Objective
Supervised on-board training required for A-III/6 electrical officer competence and/or training to satisfy the conditions in Finnish national legislation regarding S1 electrical competence requirements.
Content
Supervised on-board training in competences specified in STCW A-III/6 documented in a training record book.
Training ashore to include tasks and duties of following:
- high voltage equipment with distribution network
- design, survey, construction supervision, monitor and control of electric appliance in buildings or similar surrounds
Qualifications
Supervised basic training at the support level (A-III/4)
Supervised onboard training at the operational level (A-III/6)
Materials
Operational level -studies (STCW A-III/6) and studies that are required for S1 competence ashore.
