You familiarize yourself with adventure education in wilderness surroundings. You learn how to use wilderness surroundings, reflection methods ja insturction to support personal growth in a group situation.You learn skills in risk management, orienteering and camp life. You improve your knowledge of Finnish Lapland nature, understandingand respecting the meaning of wildlife.

Content
Preparation period during spring semester 3-4 sessions. 6-day wilderness hike in Muotkatunturit area in finnish Lapland in August / September in small 5-8 person groups with a skilled group leader. After the hike group will get together ad make a reflection on the educational values and possibilities of wilderness hiking.
Qualifications
Basic camping / hiking skills and some outdoor experiences.
