Objective

The student obtains an insight into manufacturing techniques in metal working as well as machine mounting and assembly. The student knows the safe and correct use of the machines and tools involved. The student is able to use the necessary measuring instruments. The student obtains an overall picture of machine elements: functioning, mounting, and maintenance. Basic knowledge of materials used in machine construction and their properties Choosing materials for machine elements under different operational conditions and situations. Characteristics of different materials. The student is able to recognize electronic components and knows their functioning principles and is able to perform their condition monitoring. The student understands the effects of external interferences on the functioning of electronic devices.
