Objective

Having completed the study unit, the student: knows the leadership system in emergency care situations can review the total situation at the site of an accident will have mastered patient classification in multi-patient cases knows the main function of different co-operation authorities, understands the significance of co-operation, and knows the assignment codes masters ELS/the risk classes of the rescue centre  is prepared to lead medical rescue work in situations involving co-operation with authorities knows the assignments of leaders in charge of medication, classification, care, and transportation knows the operation models of disturbances and states of emergency in normal conditions in and outside hospital

Content

leadership in emergency situations patient classification in multi-patient situations authority cooperation, assignment codes, and risk classes of the rescue centre assignments of leaders in charge of medication, classification, nursing, and transportation; and management of the whole situation preparing for disturbances and states of  emergency in normal conditions from the operational viewpoint
