Objective
You are able designe individual orthoses to the different signs and needs of the clients. You are familiar with the materials for making foot orthoses and can choose the appropriate material for their fabrication. You are capable of safe working in workshops and are able to prepare foot orthoses by means of plaster casts to alleviate client’s problems or dysfunctions of the foot. You are familiar with the various orthotic techniques and are aware of their indications for use. You can assess the effectiveness of foot orthoses and the functionality of the materials used. You can connect the orthotic therapy as part of podiatry and client service.
