Objective

Students are familiar with planning and carrying out profitable purchasing and acquisition according to production plan and strategy. Students show know-how in different kind of acquisition methods. Students have knowledge of logistics as a part of acquisition. Students are familiar with the principles of profitable stock control. Students are able to take into account principles of sustainable development in purchasing and acquisition.

Content

What are principles of profitable purchasing and acquisition and the basic concepts of those? What are the basic concepts of purchasing and acquisition? How purchasing and acquisition is carried out in hospitality management business and organisations? What is sustainable acquisition?
