This implementation is structured and scheduled around weekly classroom exercise and independent learning tasks.

• The student must achieve at least a 51-percent attendance record in classroom exercise (i.e. attend more than half of the scheduled classes).
• On some tasks, students receive personal feedback, on some other tasks they receive general feedback, and some tasks are simply marked as completed.
• To earn the credits, the student must complete all mandatory assignments, take the exam, give a presentation on a field-specific topic, and achieve the required attendance in classroom exercise.
• In all, there are four mandatory assignments, and the deadlines are scheduled at regular intervals until the end of the course.

The student's maximum workload during a 3-credit course equals 81 hours. In effect, the amount of work depends e.g. on the prior English skills level and knowledge of field-specific vocabulary. The total number of classroom exercise sessions is usually 8.

The student is able to assertively and appropriately communicate in English in the professional context, also in unexpected situations. S/he is familiar with the key terminology of the field and can utilise her language skills in expert tasks. The target level is B2 as described by the European Framework (CEF), also in work-related situations.
After completing the course, the student is able to compose in English a CV and a cover letter, describe her/his education, work experience and competence, compose formal work-related emails, describe the responsibilities, routine tasks and technical applications according to her/his specialisation using appropriate terminology, as well as prepare and give a professional presentation taking into account the demands of a culturally mixed audience.
