Objective

You learn the most important analog and digital modulation techniques and some of the possible realisations. You can evaluate the impact of noise in communication system implemented by various modulation techniques. You also know basic principles for digital transmission and storage. You understand the main principles and impacts for cable, source and channel coding as well as their applications.

Content

Analog and digital modulation, multiplexing and channel access techniques. Source, channel and line coding techniques and applications.
