Objective
Students are able to communicate assertively in English in the professional context, paying attention to the demands of the situation, and are also effective in unexpected situations. Students are familiar with the main concepts of the field and can utilise their language skills in tasks requiring expertise. Assessment criteria, good (3)
A description of the assessment targets is given in the description of the implementation. Scale: Excellent (5), good (4-3), pass (2-1), fail (0). Grades 3-5 require language skills in the European B2 level. In addition to the criteria for a satisfactory grade specified in the course implementation description, active participation in the tuition is a prerequisite for passing the course. Active participation means that the studentattends 75% of the amount of contact lessons unless the course implementation informs otherwise. The language lecturers record attendances in attendance registers. A course that is failed due to too many absences cannot be re-sat by retaking the exam. Instead, the student has to attend the course again.makes sure that they have the study material (e.g. the textbook) specified in the curriculum.takes part in the activities instructed by the lecturer in the contact lessons.completes the given homework according to the lecturer's instructions and on time and actively ensures his own progress e.g. by following the Moodle platform of the course/study unit, particularly after absence from contact lesssons.
