Programming a Web GameLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

The student will learn the basics of programming in an internet network, and will be capable of producing programs on internet pages based on databases and php scripting language. Students learn to create advanced JavaScript applications (Ajax and HTML5). Students learn and understands how to make net sites that are accessible to most people.

Content

Principles of creating programs in an internet environment. Basics of PHP scripting language, MySql-database, object oriented programming with PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, HTML DOM, DHTML, XML, Ajax. General and Web specific principles and guidelines to achieve Web-usability. the course is divided into two parts. Client Scripting is worth 2 cr and the rest (3 cr) goes to Server Scripting.
