Objective

You recognise tourism development needs and you are able to study and develop them by planning, implementing, reporting and assessing a working life oriented thesis related to the field of tourism.

Content

How do you write a research or a development plan? How do you get familiar with the context of your topic and how do you construct a literature review? How do you choose the research or development method appropriate to your study and how do you justify your choice? How do you carry out the research process considering the ethical principles in research and development operations? How do you report the results and potential output?

Qualifications

Basic studies,  RDI-studies and appropriate professional studies

Assessment criteria, good (3)

b) You evaluate information sources critically. c) You work as a team member in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field. e) You choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices. f) You promote teams’  goal-oriented operation. g) You apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations.
