  • Finnish

Objective

You recognize the main concepts and phenomena of thermodynamics, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics and properties of solutions. You are able to study chemical change and chemical equilibrium by laboratory measurements. You know the basic safety rules and methods of chemical laboratory work. You know the basic chemical laboratory equipment and accessories.

Content

What are the main concepts of thermodynamics and what is their role from the perspective of processes? What factors affect chemical equilibrium and reaction rate? How is the reaction rate described by rate equations and how is the rate constant determined? What are the main techniques of electrochemical analysis? What are the basic principles in safe laboratory work?
