You can apply operational models securing patient safety in perioperative nursing.
You master the aseptic practices in your own work, in teamwork and in patient care.
You can apply the most commonly used methods of anesthesia, and are familiar with their indications and basic techniques.
You can use the key nursing and monitoring devices in perioperative nursing.
You master the registration and reporting principles of perioperative nursing.
You can describe the effects of illnesses appearing at various ages on anesthesia and its planning.
You are able to describe the physiology of pain and assess, plan and carry out evidence-based medication.
You are able to assess, plan and administer medication to surgical patients.
You can identify, prevent and treat surgical and anaestesic complications.
You can describe the key operating methods in specialist surgery.
You can work as a member of multiprofessional surgical teams and as a nurse in the operating room.
You are able to recognise your ethical challenges and responsibilities.
You can act responsibly in maintaining information security and privacy protection.
You can guide surgical (elective, emergency) patients so that they are committed to the treatment and you can act safely promoting their rehabilitation.
