Objective

After completing the course, the students will be able to: explain and use in English several basic concepts related to maritime engineering orally describe in English the operating processes and maintenance requirements of ship machinery   within the field of maritime engineering, produce expository texts with the help of material in Finnish   choose vocabulary and grammatical structures appropriate for expository writing use English at skill level B1-B2 (European Framework)
