Objective

The student understands the practical importance of the physical principles treated in the course and is able to form and solve essential equations with physical quantities. The student gains ability to increase his physical knowledge and apply it to practical technological problems and in later professional studies.

Content

Kinematics and dynamics of a single particle, work, power and energy, rotation of rigid bodies, dynamics of rotational motion, gravitation, fluid mechanics, temperature and thermal expansion, ideal gas, humidity, thermal energy, heat transfer, basics of thermodynamics.
