Objective

Advanced course for Diesel Engines 1. Knowledge of structural features of different diesel engines and effects of auxiliary systems on their operation. Use, maintenance, and adjustment of main and auxiliary diesel engines.

Content

Structures of medium and low speed diesel engines, maintenance and repair operations and measurements involved. Adjustment of diesel engines and their economic use. Different fuel injection techniques and applications for reduced exhaust gas emissions.
