Objective
Students show know-how in bookkeeping in Finland and the meaning of it and annual accounts in business. Students are able to define basic concepts of bookkeeping. Students are able to read profit and loss account and balance. Students show abilities in course of cost accounting and profitability accounting. Students are familiar with the meaning of cost control and are able to find out business profitability.

What kind is bookkeeping in Finland and what is the meaning of bookkeeping and annual accounts? What are the basic concepts of bookkeeping? How to interpret profit and loss account and balance? How to draw up a financial statement of a small enterprise? What are the basics of cost and profitability accounting? What is the meaning of cost control? How to find out business profitability?
