What does the nursing science basis mean in gerontological nursing?

What are health sciences and their connections to gerontological nursing?

What is nursing science and what does it focus on?

How can nursing theories be used in health promotion of elderly people and in gerontological nursing?

What are the principles in nursing care?

What are the basic nursing methods in gerontological nursing work?

What is ergonomics and why is it important?

How to implement ergomical patient transfer?

What is rehabilitation work and how to implement it?

Qualifications

Basis in elderly care 20 ECTS credits
Basis of physiology 5 ECTS credits
Health exercise and bases of exercise gerontology 5 ECTS credits

Bases of pharmacotherapy 5 ECTS credits
Memory disorders and group counselling skills 5 ECTS credits
Mental heath, substance abuse and disability service work 5 ECTS credits
