Objective
Basic knowledge of manoeuvring and handling a ship in any circumstances: pilot embarkation/disembarkation, search and rescue operations, currents, winds, Squat, Bank Effect, Interaction/Suction, R.O.T., docking manoeuvres, anchoring with two anchors, manoeuvring and propulsion characteristics of ships, towing, life-saving operations.

Aluksen ohjailun perusteet, luotsin otto/jättö, tuulen virran ja matalan/ahtaan kulkuveden vaikutukset, alustyyppien ohjailueroavuudet, ohjailukokeet, ohjailu ja vaarat jääkentässä liikuttaessa, VTS, telakointi. Harjoitukset simulaattorilla.
