You can analyse gaming from an educational perspective and recognise the positive effects of gaming.
You can identify signs of problem playing and prevent its drawbacks.
You are able to evaluate the possibilities of games and gamification in educational work.
You can recognise the pedagogical potential of the maker culture.
You know the digital platforms and environments that can be used in gamification.

What do games, gamification and gamifying mean?
How can game education support positive relationship with gaming?
How can gaming and maker culture be used as a form of collaborative learning?
How to identify problem gaming and find the right ways to intervene?

Evaluation

Students can
d. assess operations in client, user and target groups situations.
e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.
f. promote teams' goal-oriented operation.
