After this course you have skills:
to understand what disability means to individual, family and society.
to use networked orientation when supporting disabled peoples’ wellbeing, ability to function and integration in the Finnish society.
to know the main laws and other norms regulating the work among people with disabilities.

How can disability be defined as a historic and cultural concept?
How do you support disabled client and his family at different life stages?
How is the work with disabled people regulated by law and other norms?
How is the rehabilitation of disabled people supported and promoted?
How are the rights of disabled recognised and promoted in the Finnish society and service system?
