Motivation and readiness for higher education studies (1 op)

Tavoitteet

The goal of the course and its tasks is that
• the participants get to know and knows how to use the online learning environment and other digital environments used in Xamk studies
• the participants demonstrate readiness for university of applied sciences studies and the applied field of study
• the participants shows readiness for studies in Finnish or English, depending on the language of the education.

Sisältö

Participants in the sections of the study course
• examine their own study goals, abilities and motivation
• evaluate and find out the strengths and study skills required for higher education studies
• demonstrate the language skills required for studies
• get to know the thinking and know-how typical of the field one is applying for
• become familiar with the skills, operations and data security required by digital environments related to studying.
