Objective

You can describe the social, economic and societal mechanisms and megatrends of the digital operating environment and their links to strategic policies and programs in the social and health field at national and European Union level.
You can analyze and evaluate the current state and future needs of digital social and health care services. You are able to evaluate the ethical and usability effects of digital services and take into consideration client, organizational and social perspectives and efficiency.
You know how to apply current health and wellbeing policy information in the multidisciplinary development of social and health care digital services.
You can monitor and anticipate factors affecting the future of your field nationally and internationally.

What are the mechanisms and megatrends of a digitalized operating environment in social and health care?
What is the legislative and ethical basis in social and health care and how does it control the design of digital services?
What is meant by the ecosystem of social and health care digital services?
How to analyze and evaluate the enterprise architecture, future needs, usability and efficiency of digital services?
What are key sources of health and welbeing information and how are they exploited in multidisciplinary development?
How to monitor and anticipate factors affecting the future of the health and social care sector nationally and internationally?

Evaluation

Students can
a. find, study, produce and evaluate critically multidisciplinary data in their field of expertise.
