Objective

You know the key concepts and approaches related to welfare and rehabilitation.
You know the sociological, social and economic mechanisms in your working environment and their connections to the changes and strategic decisions in welfare and rehabilitation policy at national and international levels.
You are familiar with the national rehabilitation service system and the core legislation.
You know how to monitor and use national, international and multidisciplinary research and development in the field of rehabilitation.

Content

What are the main rehabilitation concepts and approaches?
What is the theoretical background of multidisciplinary rehabilitation?
What is included in the political and administrative planning, control and decision-making and how is it applied to social and health care and rehabilitation management and development?
What is the legal and ethical basis of the rehabilitation service system and how is it used to control actions in planning and development?
Where do you find multidisciplinary rehabilitation research and how can you apply it?

Evaluation

Students can:

a. find, study, produce and evaluate critically multidisciplinary data in their field of welfare and rehabilitation politics.

e. evaluate strategic approaches of welfare and rehabilitation and justify their use in terms of management and development.

f. work independently in the expert duties of welfare and rehabilitation or as entrepreneurs in their professional field.

g. communicate proficiently and systematically in their spoken and written native language and in one foreign language.
