Objective

You become familiar with the basic components of analog electronics. You can implement common basic circuits of analog electronics and choose components suitable for the electrical values in specific circuit. You can simulate electronic circuits using simulation software. You understand the basic phenomena of digital electronics and know the principles of generic cabling

What are resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, and operational amplifiers?
How does a PN junction work?
What can be done with an operational amplifier?
How do you implement time calculations with analog components?
What are the so-called logical basic gates and counters?

Qualifications

basic knowledge of the mathematics of electric circuits, especially of Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws
