Objective

The student knows the animation tools that Unreal Engine provides. The student knows how to make use of animations that are brought into the game engine and knows how to combine them into larger, working entities, using the combined power of the animation editor and programming.

Content

We learn all the basic menus and settings that are part of the animation editor and how they are used. We learn how the skeleton model (Skeletal Mesh) can be edited and how animations can be modified on the fly using programming.

Accomplishment methods

The code produced in the final assignment and how the animations work will be evaluated.
