- using CAD software as a design tool
- reading, understanding and producing electrotechnical documents
- observing, interpreting and understanding the connections of a finished electrotechnical device

Students can
- use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations
- choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices

In addition, competence evaluation according to STCW code table A-III/6 column 4 are used:
- operation of equipment and system is in accordance with operating manuals
- performance levels are in accordance with technical specifications
