Objective

You know how to justify the methods and the role of instructors in adventure education from the perspective of experiential learning theory.
You can identify the professional possibilities of adventure education in the fields of community education and youth work.
You are familiar with the regulations that define the safety of adventure activities and can apply them in planning and implementing goal-oriented adventures.

What philosophical and theoretical foundation does adventure education rely on?
What educational opportunities does adventurous and experiential activities offer, and what do they require from educators?
What methods can be used in experiential learning and adventure education?
What does adventure feel like and how can meaningful learning be derived from these experiences?
How can risks related to adventure activities be managed?
