Objective

You make use of interviews, observation and palpation as part of clients' podiatric examination.
You are able to assess clients’ need for podiatry and plan and implement podiatry in a client-oriented way.
You develop your manual skills and expertise in clinical podiatry.
You are able to implement and justify client-oriented clinical podiatry.
You are able to fabricate various off-loading solutions and silicone orthoses and guide your clients in their use.
You know how to make chair side insoles and justify their use for the client.
You are able to carry out lower extremity massage with a client-oriented approach using the basic techniques of massage.
You can assess the muscular strength of the lower extremity by manual muscle testing and various functional tests.
You are able to guide clients in exercises to support the lower extremities’ function.
You develop your interaction skills when encountering different kind of clients.
You know the importance of communication and interaction in client situations and in the core communication of the workplace.
You develop your skills in podiatric documentation.
