Objective
You learn to define peatland types and understand their requirements for growing forests. You become familiar with the nutrient economy of peatlands and understand how to promote it. You know the principles of different water protection methods and how they are applied in peatland forestry. You also understand the meaning of peatland forests in carbon sequestration and their impact on the climate.
