You are familiar with the regulations and legislation concerning swimming and drinking waters.
You know why samples are taken and how to take and handle samples correctly.
You are able to advise others in taking samples in different situations and for different needs.
You can evaluate the targets and needs of sampling.

Content

What is the meaning of the quality of swimming and drinking waters to human health?
How and why is the quality of swimming and drinking waters monitored?
Why are samples taken, and what is the resulting information used for?

Qualifications

Attending the course requires basic knowledge of water supply, water treatment methods and sampling.

Evaluation

Students can:
a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.
b. evaluate information sources critically.
c. work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field.
