Objective

You know the current state of the environment, but on the other hand, understand the challenges and expected changes. You know the most important methods used for environmental monitoring. You are able to identify changes in environmental factors and the interactions between them. You also learn to acquire the collected environmental data from different sources. You are familiar with new technologies and methods for monitoring the state of the environment.

What for and what kind of information is collected about our environment?
How is the current state of our environment and what are the changes in the future?
Who produces monitoring information and how is the information used?
What kind of different sample types and sites are there?
Where can you find information about the current state of our environment?
