Objective
You know public, private and third sector's elderly care service system.
You can observe eldely people's life situations and functional capacity and living environment at home.
You can perform an interview based on a structural questionnaire and write a summary of its results.
You know how to do a home safety assessment.
You know what exercise services are provided for elderly people.
You familiarize yourself with exercise development projects for elderly people.
You pay visits to senior exercise and creative work groups.
You can arrange a small scale exercise event in some elderly care setting.

How are they organized in a particular area?
What kind of exercise services are there for the elderly?
What is the life situation and living and housing conditions of a functionally capable aging person living at home?
Is there a need for safety precautions at home?
How do you prepare for an interview?

How are working methods of exercise planned and implemented in various units and working groups of elderly care?
Qualifications
Basis in elderly care 20 ECTS credits, partly completed
Health exercise and basics of exercise gerontology 5 ECTS credits, partly completed
Ethical principles 5 ECTS credits, partly completed
Legislation and service system 5 ECTS credits, partly completed
