You know nursing theories and can analyse and assess their suitability to older adults' overall care.
You know the basics of nursing.
You use nursing methods in a respectful way, implementing individual care.
You can assess clients' functioning and use rehabilitation methods.

What do the scientific aspects of nursing mean in gerontological nursing?
What are health sciences and their connections to gerontological nursing?
What is nursing science and what does it focus on?
How can nursing theories be used in older adults' health promotion in gerontological nursing?
What are the principles of nursing?
What are the basic nursing methods in gerontological nursing?
What is ergonomics and why is it important?
How to carry out ergonomic patient transfers?
What is rehabilitative approach to work and how to implement it?

Evaluation

Students can
