• You are familiar with technological solutions and methods that can help ensure older people's safety at home.
• You are able to make use of wellbeing technological solutions and methods.
• You are able to use a medical records system.
• You are able to use a structured nursing documentation model.
• You know the importance of data protection.
• You know how to follow good data protection.
• You are able to retrieve data form the information sources healthcare and social welfare as well as deal with the data and update it.

Content

Wellbeing technology 3 ECTS
• What kind of wellbeing technology solutions and aids are there for supporting both independent living and participation?
• How to develop wellbeing technologies and services in a responsible and ethically acceptable way?

Information management in health and social care 2 ECTS credits
• What kind of information management is there in client data systems and networks in healthcare and social services?
• What kind of essential legislation and instructions are there in client data documentation?
• What are structured nursing documentation and the Finnish Care Classification system?
• What is documentation in social services?
• What is data protection and data security in information systems?
