Cross-platform development with React NativeLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

The student is able to: - program a functional mobile application on Android and/or IOS platforms - recognize features, tools and practices that are common to and characteristic of mobile application development in particular - program a multi-platform mobile application that uses different services such as databases and RESTful web services - choose an appropriate technical solution for the project and justify the selection - make use of different capabilities of mobile devices when designing the user interface of the application - make use of different native features needed in different platforms - make use of version control in his/her work

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student: - can apply the skill learned during the studies in a limited manner - has basic understanding of the different work related phenomena, tools, and theories related to the study

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student: - can apply the skills learned during the studies to different practical problems / situations - has a good knowledge of the different work related concepts, tools and theories learned during the study

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student: - can independently apply the skills learned to different work related situations - can independently apply the different work related concepts, tools and theories - is able to develop his / her work related competences independently and responsibly
