Introduction to DevOpsLaajuus (4 cr)

Objective

The student - will understand the benefits of the DevOps approach to software development - will get familiar with Azure DevOps and learn to use several tools such as Azure Boards, Repos and pipelines for better software development and collaboration - will learn to use version control to manage software repositories and software delivery by using a release-based workflow on GitHub.

The student: - can apply the skill learned during the studies in a limited manner - has a basic understanding of the different work-related phenomena, tools, and theories related to the study

The student: - can apply the skills learned during the studies to different practical problems/situations - has a good knowledge of the different work-related concepts, tools and theories learned during the study

The student: - can independently apply the skills learned to different work-related situations - can independently apply the different work-related concepts, tools and theories - is able to develop his / her work-related competencies independently and responsibly
