Objective

Welcome to study smart welfare services - study course! After completing the course, you will learn: • To understand the importance of e-health services as part of the care pathway and • To evaluate digital services from the customer and nurse perspective based on evidence • You know how to make versatile use of wellness and health technology. This study unit consists of three main themes: Theme 1: Health and wellness technology Theme 2: Legislation of digital services Theme 3: Digital health services This study unit is fully online. The material used includes text and photos as well as videos and podcasts. This course is worth 2 credits.

After completing this course: You understand the importance of e-health services as part of the treatment path. You know how to evaluate digital services based on evidence from the point of view of customer orientation and the nurse's work. You know how to make versatile use of wellness and health technology. The course contains three subject units: Theme 1: Health and wellbeing technology Theme 2: Digital services legislation Theme 3: Digital health services

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass - After completing the course, you will know - Makes expert use of digital service concepts in customer-oriented manner - Applies evidence-based knowledge in assessing the importance of e-health services Fail After completing the course, the learner - Does not recognise the digital service concepts or their connection to the patient’s care path - Does not use evidence-based knowledge in assessing e-health services
