Objective

After completing this course, the student can - recognises vulnerable individuals and groups and describes activities promoting equality - recognises their own professional role and the boundaries of society as an ethical dilemma - analyses their own activities in the field ethically and theoretically and documents them - describes their own professional ethics in situations involving value conflicts

Qualifications

Requirements for previous competence The student has previously familiarised themself with human and fundamental rights regulations, the values of social services and the principles of professional ethics, and they have reflected on their own and the field’s conception of people and values as well as their significance in customer work. For example, the first year of the Degree Programme in Social Services goes through this content.
