Objective

After completing this course, the student can - describe disability and the diversity of disability in society - assess service needs related to disability - analyse the legislation and service system concerning people with disabilities - recognise the significance of multidisciplinary co-operation in responding to the service needs of people with disabilities

Assessment The course assessment consists of the student’s self-assessment (20%) and the responsible teacher’s assessment (80%). The assessment is based on an assessment matrix with a separate section for each of the four themes of the course: 1) Customer group, 2) Knowledge-based activities, 3) Societal structures and 4) Perspectives of multidisciplinary work.
