Objective

The course provides information on e.g. maintenance methods and condition monitoring, and introduces maintenance information systems, project management and budgeting. The course deepens the skills previously acquired in the introduction to maintenance course.

The teaching material is in the Moodle learning environment. Course literature can be borrowed from the library.

Further information

The course is a continuation of the basics study course, and is followed by an applied study course containing practical exercises.

Evaluation

The course begins with an introductory lecture. After this, the students proceed to the content sections of the course. Each part has lecture material, practice exercises and a lecture recording of the most important topics of the section. An approved performance requires familiarization with the given material and the completion of learning tasks. The course ends with an online lecture/discussion.
