Student - learn about different acute care environments through 360° images - become familiar with the care of acutely ill patients in different care environments - learn how to plan, implement and evaluate the care of acutely ill patients in different acute care settings - be able to support patients and their relatives in the event of sudden illnes

- Getting to know the emergency care, emergency services, intensive care, the emergency department and the cardiac unit - Care pathway for the acutely ill cardiac patient - Care pathway for patients with acute respiratory distress - Care pathway for the acutely ill neurological patient - Care pathway for the acutely ill infectious disease patient - Care pathway for a trauma patient

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Accepted Student - understand and apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in virtual simulation situations - is able to reflect on his/her own learning and development during the course -completion of course assignments and exercises by the deadline Failed Student - does not demonstrate sufficient mastery of theoretical knowledge and its application in virtual simulation situations. - cannot reflect on his / her own learning and development. - fails to complete tasks and exercises and does not demonstrate an acceptable level of competence in them
