This course provides the basics of future studies and foresight. After completing the course student • understands and is able to describe the basic features and terminology of futures studies and foresight. • understands and is able to describe the foresight process. • is able to distinguish between everyday futures thinking and futures and foresight practice.

The course is approved when student has demonstrated an understanding of the basic concepts of futures studies and the working process, as well as the ability to distinguish between everyday future-oriented thinking and futures studies practices.
