Objective

- know the most important contents and concepts of knowledge management - know and are able to identify the levels of knowledge construction and their significance in management - understand the contents of intellectual capital and its significance in management - are familiar with the process models of knowledge management, and how they affect the development of organisations - understand and are able to apply knowledge management in value creation - understand the importance of data systems and information management in managing organisations - are able to implement a work-life based knowledge management project, as well as evaluate its implementation and benefits for the organisation

- The most important concepts and models of knowledge management - Quality and diversity of knowledge - Knowledge construction and utilizing it in management - Intellectual capital and its management - Knowledge based value creation - Information systems and information management in organisations - Implementing a work-life based knowledge management project

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

- recognizes the central concepts of knowldge management and uses them to describe practices - know the basic concetps of quality and the levels of knowledge construction - is proficient in a single aspect of knowledge management and is able to apply it in practice - takes part in a knowledge management project and is able to describe its implementation.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

- knows the concepts of knowledge management and is able to apply them purposefully for developing practices - is able to analyse and evaluate the quality of knowledge and levels of knowledge production - is familiar with and is able to apply various aspects of knowledge management for developing practices and value creation - implements a knowledge management project in collaboration with working life, and evaluates its implementation and benefits for the organisation

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

- knows the concepts of knowledge management and is able to apply them purposefully for developing practices - is able to critically analyse and evaluate the quality of knowledge and the levels of knowledge production - is proficient and able to apply various aspects of knowledge management in developing practices and value creation - implements a knowledge management project in collaboration with the working life, acting in a self-directing and responsible manner, and analyses and critically evaluates its implementation and benefits for the organisation.
